Spring Open House
Sunday, May 18, 5-7pm - No rsvps necessary for this picnic event! We fully understand the busyness of May with graduations/weddings/graduation open house parties. Please bring a salad/fruit/bread/ or dessert that serves 6-8, as well as your own table settings. Meet your farmers, visit the new certified organic greenhouse, buy some heirloom tomato plants, and visit your sprouting veggies in the fields!

Wednesday, June 4 - Fulton St. Market pickup begins, 5-7pm (members only)
Regardless of what the weather holds for the next few weeks, we will be starting the pickups the first week of June. It takes a couple of weeks for members to get back into the pickup routine, and there is lots of new information for new members to assimilate during these first pickups. Cookbooks will be available for sale, as well as market bags and Trillium t-shirts. Please bring bags for your produce. We will also have forms available at the pickup sites for members to sign up for the trilliumhaven yahoo group.

Heirloom Tomato Tasting at Meijer Gardens
Saturday, September 6 and Sunday, September 7 (open to the public)
We are excited to be working with Meijer Gardens again this year on spreading the word about the amazing world of heirloom tomatoes. Our tomatoes will be featured, as well as tomatoes from Meijers farm gardens. Their new gardener for the farm is an Organic farming graduate of MSU, and an ex-CSA farmer, and we are thrilled to be working with her!
Heirloom Tomato Canning Festival

Every year long-time member Mindy Hamstra teaches everyone how to can tomatoes. We combine all the heirloom colors and varieties into a flavorful mix, and do a new recipe every year--in the past we've tried salsa, tomato jam & tomato-basil sauce; all were delicious! Members sign up for shifts of 3-4hrs throughout the day.
Potato Harvest Festival
Saturday, September 27, or Saturday, October 4 (depending on the size of the potatoes!) (members only)
There is nothing more fun than playing in the dirt—especially muck soil which is so easy to dig into. Moms and Dads pull the weeds out, and the potato plants, and the kids gather the harvest!
